General Provisions & Legal Identity
This website is operated by BTQ – BOUTIQUE DE EVENTOS, Lda., NIPC 517199041, registered office at Rua Faisões 131 B R/C C, 2750-005 Cascais, Lisboa. These Terms govern the use of this website and the preliminary booking process. Once a client formally engages our services, a Service Agreement shall be signed, which shall prevail over these Terms in all financial and operational matters.
Disposições Gerais e Identidade Jurídica
Este website é operado por BTQ – BOUTIQUE DE EVENTOS, Lda., NIPC 517199041, com sede em Rua Faisões 131 B R/C C, 2750-005 Cascais, Lisboa. Os presentes Termos regem a utilização deste website e o processo preliminar de reserva. Assim que o cliente celebre um contrato, será assinado um Acordo de Prestação de Serviços, que prevalecerá sobre estes Termos em todas as matérias financeiras e operacionais.

Scope of Services
BTQ provides wedding and event planning services. The Agency acts as an intermediary with third-party vendors. The Customer acknowledges that the Agency may outsource services to third parties. Each supplier operates under their own Terms & Conditions and VAT treatment; the Agency is not liable for the independent actions or defaults of such vendors.
Âmbito dos Serviços
A BTQ presta serviços de planeamento de casamentos e eventos. A Agência atua como intermediária perante fornecedores terceiros. O Cliente aceita que a Agência pode subcontratar serviços a terceiros. Cada fornecedor atua ao abrigo das suas próprias Condições e regime de IVA; a Agência não se responsabiliza por atos ou incumprimentos independentes de tais fornecedores.

Booking, Deposits & "Sinal"
A booking is secured only after consultation, acceptance of a proposal, and payment of the initial deposit ("Sinal"). Pursuant to Articles 441–442 of the Portuguese Civil Code, this Sinal confirms the binding intent of the parties. If the Client cancels, the Sinal is forfeited in full to the Agency. The portion of the payment designated for administrative/planning work already performed is strictly non-refundable.
Reserva, Depósitos e "Sinal"
A reserva é garantida apenas após consulta, aceitação da proposta e pagamento do depósito inicial ("Sinal"). Nos termos dos Artigos 441.º e 442.º do Código Civil, o Sinal confirma a intenção vinculativa das partes. Caso o Cliente cancele, o Sinal é integralmente perdido a favor da Agência. A parcela do pagamento destinada a trabalho administrativo/planeamento já realizado é estritamente não reembolsável.

Pricing & Taxes
All price ranges shown on the website are indicative, non-binding, and exclusive of VAT (IVA). The final fee is specified in the Service Agreement. VAT at the statutory rate of 23% (or the rate applicable at the time of invoicing) will be added to all fees. The moment of payment is defined as the date funds land in the Agency's account.
Preços e Impostos
Todos os preços indicados no website são meramente informativos, não vinculativos e excluem o IVA. O valor final é detalhado no Acordo de Prestação de Serviços. O IVA à taxa de 23% (ou a taxa em vigor) será acrescido a todos os honorários. O momento do pagamento é definido como a data em que os fundos entram na conta da Agência.

Cancellations & Force Majeure
Cancellation and refund tiers are strictly governed by the signed Service Agreement. Neither party is liable for non-performance due to Force Majeure (as defined in Art. 5 of our Agreement, including natural disasters, strikes, or hostilities). In such cases, the period for performance shall be extended. If performance is impossible, the Agency reserves the right to offer rescheduling credits; prior work remains due and non-refundable.
Cancelamentos e Força Maior
As condições de cancelamento e reembolso são regidas estritamente pelo Acordo de Prestação de Serviços assinado. Nenhuma das partes será responsável por incumprimento devido a Força Maior. Nestes casos, o prazo para cumprimento será prorrogado. Se o cumprimento for impossível, a Agência reserva-se o direito de oferecer créditos para reagendamento; o trabalho já realizado considera-se devido e não reembolsável.

Client Obligations
The Client is obliged to: (a) Provide timely and accurate information/documents necessary for the services; (b) Ensure all legal documentation for marriage in Portugal is completed; (c) Comply with the rules of the venue and third-party suppliers. Failure to comply allows the Agency to suspend services as per Art. 2.3 of the Agreement.
Obrigações do Cliente
O Cliente obriga-se a: (a) Fornecer informações/documentos exatos e atempados; (b) Garantir que toda a documentação legal para o casamento em Portugal está completa; (c) Cumprir as regras do local e dos fornecedores. O não cumprimento permite à Agência suspender os serviços conforme o Art. 2.3 do Acordo.

Liability & Insurance
The Agency's liability is limited to the total fee paid. The Agency is not responsible for indirect losses or the defaults of third-party vendors. It is strongly recommended that Clients obtain comprehensive wedding/travel insurance.
Responsabilidade e Seguro
A responsabilidade da Agência limita-se ao montante total pago. A Agência não se responsabiliza por perdas indiretas ou incumprimentos de fornecedores terceiros. Recomenda-se vivamente que o Cliente contrate um seguro de casamento/viagem abrangente.

Data Protection (GDPR)
BTQ complies with GDPR (Reg. EU 2016/679). Personal data is used exclusively for contractual and legal purposes. Clients may exercise rights of access or deletion via privacy@btqevents.pt.
Proteção de Dados
A BTQ cumpre o RGPD (Reg. UE 2016/679). Os dados pessoais são utilizados exclusivamente para fins contratuais e legais. Os Clientes podem exercer os direitos de acesso ou apagamento através de privacy@btqevents.pt.

Intellectual Property & Media
As per Art. 4.5 of our Agreement, the Parties encourage the promotion of the event's results on social networks. The Agency reserves the right to use media generated during the event for portfolio purposes unless a written Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) is requested by the Client prior to the event.
Propriedade Intelectual e Media
Conforme o Art. 4.5 do nosso Acordo, as Partes incentivam a promoção dos resultados do evento nas redes sociais. A Agência reserva-se o direito de utilizar imagens geradas para fins de portefólio, exceto se o Cliente solicitar um NDA por escrito antes do evento.

Governing Law
These Terms are governed by Portuguese Law. Any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the Court of Lisbon. The Portuguese version prevails in case of interpretation differences.
Lei Aplicável
Os presentes Termos são regidos pela Lei Portuguesa. Qualquer litígio será submetido ao Tribunal de Lisboa. A versão portuguesa prevalece em caso de divergência de interpretação.
